這是韓國2012麗水世界博覽會（EXPO2012 YEOSU KOREA），展覽主題是The Living Ocean and Coast。
希望人們注意，如果我們再忽略海洋與海岸的生態平衡，將會很快的出現自然生態浩劫。這主題展覽館競圖第三名是由Studio Nicoletti Associates設計的Great Blue Whale。評審給的評語是 "It has a strong and powerful form that would become instantly recognizable. The theme of the Expo is symbolically represented with a shape drawn from marine life. The image of the pavilion is consistent with the theme of the ocean. Its fluid shape celebrates the nature of water and the marine life that has adapted to it. It makes a very simple but powerful metaphorical relationship.
